I watched to the episode 6. In the 1st episode, it was often scenes forward reverse, though, I was able to understand the story without confusing.

The story is a kind of the fantasy that seeks for "rust-eating-mushroom" in the world where the rust gets not only metal but also living things corrosive. There aren't charmingly fairlies, but there are flying blowfishes or flying whales, those are ridden by humans or raid on humans.
錆びる前の社会では逸脱していなかったかもしれない者らが、砂漠化し荒廃した土地で生きるために原始的な、あるいは刹那的な方法で暮らし、従来の社会をどうにか維持している人々は壁を築いた囲郭都市で暮らしている日本で、主人公二人は都市で出会って錆喰いキノコを求めて外界へ旅立つ。
In rusted Japan, two men meet in a walled town where people somehow maintaining the conventional life, and then two go forth to outside to lookout for the rust-eating-mushroom. In the wastelanded outside, ones have been living from hand to mouth by primitive means.
